ChipEx is the largest annual event of the Israeli semiconductor industry. The first day will be conducted a physical conference at the Tel Aviv Expo convention center. The second day will be done in a virtual conference format. It will provide exhibition opportunities for those global vendors that will not be able to travel to Israel. The conference is produced by ASG Ltd. in cooperation with Semiconductor Industry Association and with Semi, the largest global industry association.
Apart from attending the conference, Optima is submitting a paper on “Advanced Static and Dynamic Analysis of Only Relevant Faults in Safety Critical Design, to achieve ISO 26262 Compliance”.
Paper: Advanced Static and Dynamic Analysis of Only Relevant Faults in Safety Critical Design, to achieve ISO 26262 Compliance
The ISO26262 standard recommends FuSa verification by way of injecting faults and analyzing them, to verify quantitatively how many such faults violate the safety goals, and how many get detected by the safety mechanisms implemented. As chip complexity grows, the number faults to analyze grows. Only relevant faults need to be analyzed, hence, right from the beginning, relevant faults are identified using pruning and optimization
using static analysis and static-coverage maximization, thereby reducing the number of faults needed to be simulated. This reduces the time required to obtain FMEDA metrics. An advanced Static and Dynamic Analysis of faults, using the Optima Safety Platform™ is proposed in this paper.
ChipEx exhibition is open on June 21-22, 2021.
Tel Aviv, Israel.
